I believe  we are all artists by means of personal expression. Our personal journeys are to
discover what intrigues us, explore the possibilities, create and share with others. If  I can
lift someone's spirits and bring to them a moment of joy through the language of painting,
then I have succeeded in communicating from the intimate fabric of the heart which is my
    goal.

I grew up in the beautiful mountains of Northeastern, CA. raising animals, observing the
intricacies of nature.  My Grandmother led me to appreciate the beauty of my
surroundings, growing a variety of flowers, sharing with me her fondness of them which
soon became my own.  My mother encouraged painting and drawing came easy for me,
from there I experimented with different mediums from oils,  pastels, to watercolors. Those
little nudges of encouragement from the women in my life were a great inspiration for me.
I was always intrigued by creative people through out my childhood and wanted to explore
my own creative energy,  through the channel of art.

I am a essentially a self taught painter and enjoy studying works and reading about

the thought processes of other artists I admire.  I  live in the Palm Springs area with my

husband Greg and have a beautiful daughter named Brittany.

My most favored artists include:  William Bougereau,  John Waterhouse,
Henry Draper, Georgia O'Keeffe, John Singer- Sargent, and Joaquin Sorolla,
Robert Henri and last but not least the incredible Richard Schmid.

Thank you for viewing my paintings.

    Peace to you,
