``If I can lift someone's spirits and bring to them a moment of joy through my paintings, then I have succeeded in communicating from the intimate fabric of the heart which is my ultimate goal.`` At a young age, Cindy Lee Jones became captivated by the beauty surrounding her in the mountains of Northeastern California. She spent her childhood there, raising animals and observing the beautiful delicacies of remote and untouched nature. This passion, further fostered by her grandmother’s own deep appreciation for flowers and their tranquil surroundings, inspired Cindy to capture these images and share this beauty with the world through her canvas and paintbrush. A self-taught contemporary artist, Cindy Lee Jones is known for her large scale flower paintings and high color portraits. In the spirit of fine art, her vibrant palette choices bring an unexpected use of color and form to her canvas while her commitment to close observation of nature and her surroundings leads to a constantly evolving artistic style. Cindy Lee Jones is the recipient of many awards. Her work is collected within the US and Europe. She now resides in Palm Springs, California.
